BRDC Superstars help Starlight and BEN

Ferrari North Europe, in partnership with the British Racing Drivers’ Club, created a unique experience at the Silverstone Circuit today to brighten the lives of a group of young children from the Starlight Children’s Foundation and BEN, the automotive industry benevolent fund.
Aged from four to 19, the children had travelled from all over the UK to attend. BRDC SuperStars Alex Lynn, Alex Brundle, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs, Ben Barker, Dean Stoneman, Sam Tordoff, Tom Sharp, and Tim Harvey, Director, BRDC SuperStars were joined by Rising Stars Jody Fantin, Benji Hetherington, Seb Morris and Dan Cammish to help with the day, and took 50 youngsters on a 15-minute passenger ride around the Silverstone circuit in a Ferrari California. Nick Mason, drummer with Pink Floyd and BRDC member also assisted with driving duties.
TV host Mike Brewer who currently presents Wheeler Dealers on Discovery Channel hosted the event, which took place in the BRDC Clubhouse.
"It was fantastic to see the energy and enthusiasm of the kids," said Ben. "It makes you realise how lucky we are and how much we take racing for granted. A great charity helping those who help us within the Automotive industry."
